Bank statements to clean rows. Checked before you pay a penny.
Drop the PDF your bank gave you. It is read inside your browser, every transaction is listed with its page and line, the balances are checked to the penny, and you get a clean CSV for Xero, QuickBooks or Excel. £4, when it looks right.
Your statement
Read on your computer. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing of yours for anyone to keep.

What you see before you pay
Most converters make you pay, then hope. Rowclean shows the work first.
Date, description, money in, money out, balance, and the page and line in your PDF it came from. Rows we are unsure about are marked, never guessed.
Opening balance plus money in minus money out must equal your closing balance to the penny. If it does not, the banner is red and tells you by how much.
One CSV, five columns, imports straight into Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or Excel. Pay £4 only after you have seen the rows.
Built per bank, not one-size-fits-all
Each bank prints statements differently: dates once per day, balances once per day, descriptions split over lines. Rowclean carries a parser per bank and says which one it used.
Pay for a statement, not a subscription
Packs never expire and there is nothing to cancel, because nothing renews.
Why this exists
I read the reviews of the converters accountants already pay for. The complaints were the same four things, so I built the opposite.
What people complain about
- A "monthly" plan that turns out to be a 12-month commitment
- Credits that vanish at month-end
- Conversions that fail with no explanation
- Support that never answers
Rowclean
- One price per statement; packs never expire
- Nothing renews, so nothing to cancel
- Every row and the balance check shown before you pay
- support@rowclean.com, answered by me
Questions
Where does my statement go?
Nowhere. The PDF is read inside your browser, on your computer. My servers never receive it, so there is nothing of yours to store, leak or train on. The only thing that leaves your browser is the £4 payment, handled by Stripe.
What if a row is wrong?
You see every row before paying, each with its page and line in the PDF, and the balance check tells you if the totals do not add up. Anything unreadable is marked, not invented.
Which banks work?
HSBC and Barclays have dedicated parsers today, with a general parser for any UK statement laid out as date, description, money in, money out and balance. Banks are added as real statements are tested; the page for your bank says where it stands.
Scanned statements?
Not yet. A text PDF from online banking works; a photographed or scanned statement is refused with a clear message rather than a bad guess.
Refunds?
If the file you paid for is wrong, email me and I refund it. That is the whole policy. Stripe emails a receipt for every payment.
